Large growing Morris County insurance agency is seeking Commercial Lines Account Manager to service and manage a book of commercial lines accounts. The Account Manager will respond to client calls about policy and coverage questions and consult with clients on policy changes and risk management concerns. This position will be responsible for providing timely and professional day-to-day client service working closely with the insurance agency producer and carrier underwriters. You may also be asked to visit clients from time to time with agency Producers.
This position currently is a HYBRID remote work schedule with two days in the office and three at home. Subject to possible change in the future.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage the daily account management of an assigned book of business, including invoicing, premium breakdowns, policy changes, review of policy forms, providing coverage comparisons, and responding to policy questions.
- Oversee the completion of administrative tasks including issuance of certificates of insurance, auto ID cards, and processing policies/endorsements.
- Build successful relationships with clients, and carriers to improve client retention.
- Identify gaps in coverage and consult with producer of options to advise our clients.
- Support the renewal process for all assigned and prospective clients with the producer including ordering updated loss information, obtaining updated information, handling renewal applications, renewal marketing, reviewing and facilitating the renewal pricing including preparing the renewal proposal, and binders.

- Follow agency guidelines, policies, and procedures.
Qualifications Required
- 3-5 years commercial Lines experience.
- Valid Property & Casualty License.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Ability to consistently process transactions accurately.
- Knowledge of agency management systems Applied EPIC preferred.
- Competent in use of Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Insurance designations not required, but preferred.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
