Maverick Distribution is looking for a qualified leader to build, grow, and develop our Central and Eastern Iowa territory. Overseeing a sales team and territory that covers Des Moines, Iowa City, Cedar Rapids, Davenport, Ottumwa, Waterloo, Dubuque, and all surrounding areas.

We are a wholesale distributor with product categories including non-alcoholic beverage, tobacco, vape, kratom, THC beverage, snack, candy, automotive and many more. We are servicing both off-premise and on-premise accounts ranging from grocery, c-store, liquor store, smoke shop, bars, and restaurants.

This role is positioned to be a six-figure, high-end management role with executed growth in the territory.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve territory sales targets
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned territory
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and potential areas for growth
- Build and manage a team of Route Sales Representatives
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations to prospective clients
- Collaborate with management to achieve new account and sales growth

Requirements:
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in a management role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively present and provide value to new and existing customers
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships
- Self-motivated with a strong drive for results

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
