Tart Lumber Company, Inc., a full-service lumber and building material company complete with a contractors hardware store, design showroom, and a custom mill shop, seeks a Marvin Window & Door Outside Sales Representative to join their team. If you are experienced in window sales and motivated to learn new products and systems, we want to hear from you. A background in construction and building materials is not required, but is a plus for this position.

• $60,000 $75,000 first year wage (expected); base wage plus uncapped commission in following years.

WHAT YOU WILL DO.

• Promote and sell Marvin windows, doors, and skylights.
• Confidently present Marvin displays to clients in the showroom.
• Call on existing customers, high-end builders, and contractors during the sales process to collect customer product needs and design specifications. Act as liaison between purchasing, production, and final delivery.
• Provide site evaluations and field measurements for replacement windows in existing homes.
• Educate clients on the benefits and options available from the Marvin brand with a basic understanding of the construction process, building codes, energy restrictions and regulations.
• Stay on-top of industry trends to further develop and increase your product and industry knowledge.
• Read and comprehend construction plans to provide full material take offs for clients.
• Promote Tart Lumber and maintain relationships with builders, architects, contractors, and suppliers.
• Embrace company values, behaviors, and practices that form the heart of our customer-focused culture.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR.

• Must possess a valid drivers license.
• Window and door sales or installation experience with hands-on knowledge of the Marvin window and door product line preferred. In lieu of experience, we will train someone that is highly motivated with a strong understanding of building materials or a comparable industry.
• You are customer focused, enjoy building relationships, and excel in providing exceptional customer experiences.
• Proficiency with computers and Microsoft office software (Word, Excel, email, calendar) required.
• You are dependable, ethical, and a good communicator.
