Northwestern Mutual Louisville is adding four entrepreneurial-minded individuals to our next Financial Planning Apprentice Class. This is a full-time position, and candidates may start between August and November.

PURPOSE

Our Financial Planning Apprenticeship provides the opportunity to gain hands-on and real-world experience as you explore our career path of becoming a Financial Advisor. The goal of the Apprenticeship is to prepare you to transition to a full-time Financial Advisor managing your own independent practice.

You will not only further develop relationships within the Louisville community but you will also have the opportunity to make an impact on the lives of others by helping them enjoy financially secure lives.

You will learn our business by working alongside our experienced financial advisors, Certified Financial Planners and professional office staff. You will also experience and participate in our innovative, entrepreneurial, supportive, and growth-minded company culture. Hard work and responsibility are valued here.

BY JOINING OUR TEAM, YOU'LL HAVE ACCESS TO

A high-quality apprentice program to help you learn and develop.

The opportunity to design your road map to leadership positions, such as leading a team of advisors, and specialized roles, such as becoming an expert on a specific product or service.

Mentorship and professional development training.

Leading industry products and solutions built on an integrated technology platform.

Financial support for professional designations and certifications, such as Series 6 and 63 licenses and Life and Health state licenses. It is expected that our Financial Advisors begin studying for the Certified Financial Planner exam after their second year.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Help clients achieve and maintain financial security by providing financial advice and matching solutions with clients needs and goals.

Develop rapport with clients and foster long-term relationships.

Analyze, create, and implement a personalized strategy for your clients to achieve financial security.

Be knowledgeable about Northwestern Mutuals financial products and financial market trends.

Provide an exceptional client experience through strong client relations.

Participate in personal and professional training and development meetings.

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INCLUDE:

3 - 5 meetings with prospective clients or current clients (in-person or virtual)

Developing tailored solutions and plans for each client.

Training and coaching from people who are experts in management, development and executives in the financial field.

Attending a skills-based learning session or leadership development meeting.
