Now Hiring - Jerry Seiner Dealerships - Outdoor Retailer Sales Associate in South Jordan, UT

Time to start your next adventure! Destination Upfitters is the newest outdoor adventure store created by the Jerry Seiner Dealerships. We specialize in upfitting your car to match your lifestyle and provide custom tailgating, camping, overland, and adventuring equipment and merchandise.

Starting Wage: $15 - $18 for Entry Level. Wage can increase with management experience.

This is a new position and we are looking for an enthusiastic, customer service-oriented outdoor guru who can help guide customers and referrals through their outdoor adventuring plans. They know and love the outdoor lifestyle, work well with people, and have experience selling retail products. Automobile experience is a plus, but not required.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist customers with vehicle accessory needs
• Maintain physical appearance of showroom displays
• Determine each customer's outdoor wants and needs and provide solutions for them
• Help create outdoor adventure plans, workshops, and events for customers
• Understand the terminology of the outdoor upfitter business and stay current with product knowledge and industry updates
• Demonstrate all inventory, ability to easily put up and take down tents and other outdoor products
• Keep informed of new products, features, accessories, etc., and how they benefit the customer
• Establish repertoire with existing customer base and build relationships for customer loyalty through sales and retention
• Report to the Destination Upfitters manager, regarding objectives, planned activities, and analyses
• Special projects and other duties as determined by management

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or the equivalent
• Cashier/retail experience
• Valid in-state driver's license, and eligible for company driver's insurance
• Ability to sell a minimum quota according to company goals
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy items up to 50 lbs.
