As a Regional Sales Manager, you are responsible for sales performance and revenue growth for customers and prospects within the assigned region (North Central Region/Eastern Canada). You will work with customers, distributors, and partners to develop new business, retain business, and build customer awareness to HED product and solutions enabling you to increase our share of wallet in the assigned region. In this role you will frequently interface with customers both remotely and in person to identify customer needs and present technical solutions. A degree in electrical, hydraulics, or mechatronics is desirable as our product line is highly technical.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prospect for new customers and business
- Lead the selling process of the organizations products and services.
- Maintains above average customer and prospect relationships.
- Manages and executes sales activities with minimal oversite.
- Cultivate customer leads to business closure from cold calls, website, marketing activities & tradeshows.
- Make sales calls and provide support to HED customers, distributors & partners.
- Manage, coordinate, and develop quotations & proposals per customer requests.
- Maintain and grow existing customers, distributor, and partner business.
- Develop a business funnel and win new business with customers, distributors, and partners.
- Prepare and give presentations to customers on HED products, solutions, and services.
- Utilize & update HED CRM system on new business opportunities, accounts, and customers.
- Attend and represent HED at tradeshows, industry events and customer events.
- Work with sales management, product management & engineering management to be the voice of the customer to ensure HED provides world-class customer service and technical support.
- Work with sales management to develop customer & product sales forecasts.
- Participate in strategic planning, product road mapping, & revenue planning bringing VOC, market intelligence and market trends & drivers to the planning.
- Based on customer needs, develop a comprehensive solution with Application Engineering that meets or exceeds those needs. Document, communicate and differentiate the solution to our customer in a proposal and/or presentation.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education
BS or AS degree in engineering (electrical, electronics, electronics technologist, mobile hydraulics, or mechatronics).
Skills and Abilities
2 years minimum experience in technical sales
Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% of the time within the assigned territory.
Strong communication (written, verbal & presentation) and interpersonal skills.
Highly Motivated, self-starter with growth mindset
Customer empathy/customer advocate mentality balanced with good business acumen.
Ability to work independently to set daily priorities and workload.
Accountable to delivery and achievement of success in a sales role.
Demonstrated ability to identify, qualify, and close business at key prospect accounts.
Ability to work cross functionally with all departments to ensure customer satisfaction.
Proficient with computers: Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point
Attention to detail, accuracy, and task follow-through.
Multitask effectively across multiple customers demands in a timely and professional manner.
Ability to perform under pressure and address complaints in a timely manner.
Driven and self-motivated to hold self-accountable and constantly achieve and exceed goals.
Highly accountable to meeting goals.
Technically astute, an ability for you to interface and communicate with engineers will be critical in this role.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
5+ years of experience in technical sales calling on off-highway vehicle OEMs.
Past engineering experience development, application, other
Working understanding of electronics controls, vehicle communication systems such as CAN, J1939, CAN Open, other, and embedded software.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
