Bi-lingual Insurance Agent Support Specialist

MESSER Financial Group, an Insurance Field Marketing Organization (FMO) in Charlotte, NC, is currently seeking a Bi-Lingual individual for our Producer Support Department as an Insurance Agent Support Specialist. This is an in-office position.

What You Will Do

As a Producer Support Specialist, your primary responsibility is to provide direct support to our external Independent Agent brokers. This will include building sustainable relationships through open and interactive communications while providing world-class support to our independent agent partners. You will work closely with colleagues in various internal departments, as well as external vendors and insurance carriers. Additional job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Develop knowledge of various departments and company initiatives to support agents effectively.
• Manage a high volume of agent interactions via email and phone
• Utilize available resources to continuously expand subject matter knowledge in support of our agents and agency heads.
• Manage escalations, provide timely and appropriate solutions, and follow up to ensure complete resolution and closure.
• Build relationships with agents and agency partners to gain their confidence.
• Proactively identify and execute opportunities to strengthen and expand agent relationships.
• Document insurance producer interactions, update and maintain producer accounts.
• Develop and generate management reports as needed.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.

Required Experience/Skills

• Bilingual (Spanish) written and verbal.
• Knowledge of/experience with insurance products, including Medicare, Medicare Supplement, Health, and Life.
• Ability to research and take initiative to work independently.

• Ability to quickly build rapport and develop sustained long-term relationships.

• Ability to adapt and engage with a diverse agent and client base.

Preferred Experience/Skills

• Life insurance experience is highly preferred.

Compensation Hourly position with occasional overtime required as needed to meet workload and critical deadlines. Annual total compensation range of $57,000 $ 64,000 which includes a profit-sharing target of 10% of base compensation paid. Actual profit sharing amount paid is based on the companys financial performance and individuals contribution to companys success.
