Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and energetic Sales Representative to join our team. The Sales Representative will play a crucial role in driving sales growth by identifying new business opportunities, nurturing existing customer relationships, and promoting our established line of food grade lubricants. The ideal candidate will possess an understanding of lubrication products, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in sales within the food industry.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through research, cold calling, networking and other methods.

Build and maintain strong relationships with customers. Understand their needs, address concerns, and provide solutions to enhance customer satisfaction.

Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the features and benefits of all products.

Provide product presentations to potential clients.

Meet or exceed sales targets set by the company. Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales goals.

Stay up to date on market trends, industry trends, sales techniques and product knowledge.

Maintain records of sales activities including sales calls, deals in progress and customer interactions.

Prepare sales reports and forecasts.

Collaborate with other team members such as marketing and customer service.

Attend trade shows, conferences and networking events to expand customer base.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in sales techniques such as solution-based selling and relationship building.
• Efficient in time management.
• Strong networking skills
• Proactive and self-motivated.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelors degree required.
• 3-5 years of sales experience required.

Additional Requirements:

• Ability to travel to various locations, attend meetings and participate in industry events.
• Valid drivers license in good standing.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods, particularly during trade shows and networking events.
• Must be able to sit for extended periods while working on a computer, making calls, or handling administrative tasks.
• Must be able to lift and carry at least 15lbs.
