Sales Specialist (Inside/Outside)
Pay: $20 - $25 per hour

Summary: This job posting is for the full-time position of Inside Sales Specialist with ASAP Metalfab, a sheet-metal manufacturing job shop in Yakima, WA. We are a small business with local owners; you wont be treated like a number here. We are looking for an Inside Sales and Industrial Account Support Specialist who likes building and managing their own pipeline, contacting businesses by phone, and supporting the team. Here are some details:

Typical Responsibilities
Find and pursue leads for new potential customers fitting within our criteria
Plan effective sales calls and maintain a regular call schedule
Sell our manufacturing services to new and existing customers
Sell to keep our weekly production backlog full, without over-selling our available capacity
Find new opportunities to improve our margins and overall throughput
Become very knowledgeable on our available services and capabilities; CNC laser cutting, press brake forming, welding, sandblast and powder coat, etc.
Trained to support price Estimation and Quoting for new part orders
Receive request for quote from new customers
Handle incoming sales calls
Responsible for providing safe Lead Times to customers
Input sales and quoting data into our JobBOSS ERP system
Maintain a great attitude and rapport with our customers
Keep work areas clean and organized
Follow all company rules and policies
Follow all safety rules and quality standards
Work with the team, be open to change and continuous improvement
Maintain positive communications with the team, work together to identify and escalate issues early, and overcome obstacles to success
Support other projects as required the Sales Manager

Preferred Qualifications

Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel); scheduling appointments/updating calendars
Experience as an office assistant or in a related field
Ability to write clearly and help with word processing when necessary
Warm personality with strong communication skills
Ability to work well under limited supervision
Self-motivated
Great communication skills
Dependable
Great attitude
Growth-minded

Preferred Experience

Understanding of basic mechanical and manufacturing techniques.
Three years minimum experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

The business operates on a 40-hour workweek. Overtime may occasionally be required. Standard hours of operation are:

Monday-Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm
