Full description of the position

PHOENIX LITHOGRAPHING CORPORATION has immediate openings at its Northeast Philadelphia facility for an experienced SENIOR DIRECT MAIL SALES EXECUTIVE.

We are looking for an experienced Direct Mail Sales Executive for our growing Mailing division. Our state-of-the-art production facility is a USPS Detached Mailing Unit, certified for Seamless Acceptance and SOC II. In addition to selling mailing services, the DM Sales Executive will be able to offer their clients access to one of the largest privately owned printing facilities in the country. The sales executive will be able to sell complete direct mail packages.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • The ideal candidate will have several years of direct mail sales experience in a business-to-business environment. The successful candidate could be an emerging talent with just the right drive and approach, or a seasoned industry veteran with many satisfied customers and well-earned credibility.
  • Knowledge of postal regulations and preparation requirements.
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent sales experience is preferred.
  • Dynamic and highly motivated with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to make recommendations and bring creative out-of-box recommendations to clients and areas that support sales.
  • Experience in selling commercial print is a plus.
  • Ability to navigate internal resources for cross-functional collaboration.
  • Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office software.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.
  • Drivers license and own transportation.

JOB SUMMARY AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Direct Mail Sales Executive will be responsible for selling Phoenixs direct mail and printing services and be passionate about helping our customers communicate with their communities. You should be able to align our direct mail and related services with clients marketing and other strategic needs.

You will proactively develop relationships with current and prospective clients, assist in drawing up contracts, bid on large-scale and commercial direct mail jobs, and deliver superb service to our clients. Identify and engage new direct mail accounts through cold-calling, networking, referrals, and your ability to source your own leads in order to increase your sales volume and income.

Your day-to-day responsibilities may include developing new clients and business, maintaining customer accounts, following up with customers to ensure satisfaction or help them with new projects, develop and make presentations and submit proposals for jobs, and engage in the development of new direct mail-related products and services at Phoenix. Serve as a Direct Mail expert to the broader sales organization to advance future direct mail opportunities. Your role will also encompass elements of marketing and advertising in support of Phoenixs growth in our direct mail division.

You will coordinate, as needed, with Phoenixs commercial printing division.
