JOB OVERVIEW
Develop and book future business by identifying potential leads and actively soliciting future business within specified territory. Prospect and develop new business transient accounts. Responsible for maximizing a hotel's revenues by developing strategies to increase market share with established accounts, grow business transient account roster and negotiate through RFP process annual agreements.
Responsible for prospecting, soliciting, and growing transient business accounts with the focus to grow market share.
You will be focusing relationships within the Corporate Market/ Business Transient Segment to solicit business.
Generate, Service and Prospect leads for the Hotel.
Complete RFPs for Corporates by working with the DOS, Revenue Manager and Hotel General Manager.
Solicitation and generation of new leads using industry tools like Agency 360 or brand established tools.
Identify creative ways to increase business for the hotel and its facilities.
Responsible for promoting and marketing the hotel and its facilities by conducting on-site property tours with prospective and existing clients.
Maintain good relationships with existing clients, generating repeat business and growing relationships.
Complete weekly call activities for solicitation, client meetings and site tours with key existing clients and target clients.
Provides outstanding customer service when dealing with potential new customers or leads.
Interact with in-house guests and solicit future business or generate leads.
Leverage relationship with Hilton Worldwide Sales on key accounts and target accounts.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
A self-starter with an outgoing personality who enjoys interacting with new and established clients.
Prefer 3 years of experience in hotel sales. Experience of working in Branded hotel a plus.
Has excellent written and oral communication skills and telephone etiquette.
This person must present a professional appearance.
This person must be able to handle the stress of multiple tasks; must be able to organize and prioritize tasks in order to meet deadlines in a timely manner.
This person must be punctual and able to work flexible hours.
Prior Hilton experience is preferred.
Intermediate or better computer skills with a proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel are required.
Knowledge of Delphi a plus.
