Full Time

We are seeking an experienced Inside Counter Sales Representative to join our team in Tyler, TX. The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for working with the team to manage and profitably grow our business by servicing our customers at our retail store.

Mitchell Welding Supply has been serving the welding industry in the DFW Metroplex for over 40 years and takes great pride in delivering exceptional customer service. Today we are a key distributor of industrial, medical and specialty gases and equipment in the market.

Job Description

Makes sales, serving customers who visit the retail store

Answers questions, recommends appropriate product

Accurately completes and files all necessary paperwork

Receives payment for merchandise and enters into computer

Performs warehouse duties, stocks product and moves product for customers

Follows all TGG safety policies and procedures

Makes calls and answers phone

Other duties as assigned

Basic Required Qualification

High school diploma or GED

Excellent customer service skills

Proficient with PC and MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint & Word

Ability to lift, push, pull or move product weighing up to 100lbs

Ability to operate a forklift

Authorized to work in the United States

Flexibility overtime as required, occasional weekends

Preferred Qualifications

1 year retail store experience

Welding experience

Class B CDL with HazMat

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
