Job responsibilities:

- Increases loan portfolio by developing business contacts

- Responsible for bringing SBA 7(a) loans and commercial real estate loans to the bank from the region assigned

- Establish strong network and relationships with business brokers, loan brokers, CPAs, real estate agents, and other referral sources to market new loans

- Ensure that all loans conform to the bank policy and credit standards, and compliant with all SBA, federal and state rules and regulations

Loan Marketing Officer Job Duties:

- Communicate with customers and collect loan application and loan processing documents

- Analyze applicants financial status, credit standing, and property evaluations to determine financial capacity

- Site visitation of new loans

- Interacting with the loan manager(s) and underwriters to provide feedback and strengthen internal initiatives and external suggestions/requests

- Meet overall bank sales goals

Skills and Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree or higher in finance/accounting related field

- Two (2) years minimum SBA lending experience in commercial banking environment

- Two (2) years minimum of demonstrated sales and business development experience with proven results

- Two (2) years minimum of commercial lending with knowledge of the local market

- Good organizational skills

- Good written and verbal communication skills

- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills

- Proficiency in relevant computer applications

- Preferred Bilingual English/Chinese, Vietnamese or Korean
