Our hands-on support team is available to assist you with various needs, including lead generation, marketing materials (such as flyers, email and SMS campaigns, social media management and events), product training, coaching, and guidance from our leadership team. This support aims to assist you in achieving your goals and offers opportunities for advancing in your career.

As a Loan Officer, your primary responsibilities are to obtain and originate residential mortgage loans based on consumer demand. To purchase and refinance residential properties with 1-4 units that are secured by a first-lien mortgage or deed of trust, you will be the one to solicit, receive, and originate applications for the extension of credit. Additionally, you will offer support to consumer applicants and ensure a top-notch customer experience by overseeing the entire loan processing journey from the initial application to the closing, while maintaining continuous communication with customers.

Essential Functions:

• Educate consumers about the home purchase or refinance process, and how to better manage their mortgages by discussing loan terms, rates, fees, and other costs.
• Maintain open communication with consumers throughout the loan process.
• Confer and meet with customers during various stages of the loan process as needed.
• Utilize materials, reference tools, and other resources to provide accurate and up-to-date loan program/policy information to customers and business partners.
• Promote self and company to grow market share and achieve production goals.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age or older and possess a High School Diploma or GED.
• Either holds a current Loan Originator license or is eligible to apply for and secure one after being hired.
• Must consistently maintain a good standing for all licenses held. (if theres any)
• Computer Literate.
• Demonstrates effective in-person and phone etiquette skills.
• Good communication skills both verbal and written.
• Capable of maintaining the confidentiality of work-related information and materials.
• Must establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and service providers.

Nice to have, but not required:

• Familiarity with Loan Origination Systems and other software used for loan origination.
• Delivers superior customer service results at all stages of the loan process;
• Familiar with loan products and programs of FNMA/FHLMC/GNMA/FHA/VA/USDA;
• Experience with down payment assistance bond programs or other specialized lending structures is preferred.
