Quality Scales Unlimited is the premier scale weighing equipment sales and service provider in Northern California. We sell, service, rent and support all types of weighing equipment for over 1500 businesses in California and Nevada. Some examples include vehicle scales, platform scales, hopper scales, and benchtop scales. We service what we sell, and service all scale types we find in the field. To support continued growth, we are seeking a Technical Sales Assistant. If you do not have experience in the scale industry, it is not a problem If you are either electrically or mechanically inclined, enjoy troubleshooting and solving problems have a willingness to learn and possess a positive attitude, we can provide training specific to the scale industry.

What You Will Do:

Understand product offerings

Work with customer to understand their needs

Develop and distribute quotes

Record activities in quote database and CRM software

Follow up on quotes sent

Place orders for quoted jobs

Assist Sales Manager

Who You Are:

Bachelors degree, 2-year technical degree, and/or 2-3 years of customer facing experience preferred

Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and with a team

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Ability to quickly grasp technical concepts and express them in clear language

High attention to detail

Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines

Proficiency in the use of computers and Microsoft Office software

Class C drivers license with good driving record

Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening, a background check and DMV driving record check

Hours:

Monday to Friday; 7am to 4pm

Salary:

$18-28/hour + Commission

Pay: $18.00 - $28.00 per hour
