Position Summary:
As a Benefits Account Manager specializing in Group Health, you will play a pivotal role in fostering strong client relationships and ensuring the seamless delivery of health benefits services. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of group health insurance products, compliance regulations, and a passion for providing exceptional customer service. Experience with PEOs is considered a significant plus.
Responsibilities:
- Client Relationship Management:
- Serve as the main point of contact for assigned clients, building and maintaining strong relationships.
- Conduct regular client meetings to understand their needs, address concerns, and provide strategic guidance on group health benefits.
- Benefits Administration:
- Oversee the end-to-end administration of group health benefits, including enrollment, claims resolution, and member communications.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and compliance standards to ensure clients are informed and compliant.
- Strategic Consultation:
- Collaborate with clients to understand their business objectives and recommend innovative solutions to enhance their employee benefits offerings.
- Provide insights and advice on plan design, cost containment, and wellness initiatives.
- Communication and Education:
- Develop and deliver educational materials to clients and their employees to enhance their understanding of benefits programs.
- Conduct employee meetings, webinars, and training sessions as needed.
- Issue Resolution:
- Proactively identify and resolve any issues related to benefits administration, ensuring a positive experience for clients and their employees.
- Work closely with internal teams to address and resolve challenges promptly.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in benefits administration, with a focus on group health benefits.
- In-depth knowledge of health insurance products, compliance regulations, and industry best practices.
- Experience with PEOs is a significant plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively present complex information to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities.
