Sales Consultant

Job Description:

Anima Domus is a high-end furniture company that has been serving the South Florida community since 1998. Our showrooms are unique due to the valuable technical and design advice we provide. We are more than a retail operation, we guide our clients towards achieving their design goals by providing well-grounded recommendations on practical solutions, layouts, product selection, proportions, finishes and more. Our sales staff plays a critical role in providing this exclusive service to our high-end clientele. They think critically towards developing innovative solutions and have a passion for building and maintaining relationships with our clientele.

The Sales Consultant will leverage their selling skills, interpersonal abilities, and keen eye for detail to generate sales and present our design philosophy. The Sales Consultant is responsible for generating sales opportunities through multiple channels.

This is a full time, commission based position. Compensation listed is an estimated total compensation earned from the base salary and commissions combined.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree or higher is required.
• Excellent verbal & written communications skills.
• Professional fluency in Spanish is required.

Competencies:

• Relevant experience in high-end furniture retail is desirable.
• Architectural or Interior Design experience is desirable.
• Ability to provide space solutions by using the collections, lines offered by Anima Domus.
• Proven ability to drive revenue and new business by generating sales opportunities from new clients.
• Skilled negotiator capable of confidently dealing with clients to generate sales.
• Ability to engage effectively with clients in difficult or emotional situations. This includes the ability to listen carefully to the clients needs and subsequently assist the client directly or engage the relevant members of the Anima Domus staff to assist.
• Ability to lift and move small to medium sized items.
• Ability to move efficiently throughout the showroom and the office.
• Proficiency with Mac operating system, Microsoft Office, and Google Applications. Knowledge of PowerPoint is a must.

Responsibilities:

• Provide a luxury experience for our clients through every interaction.
• Represent Anima Domus through personal appearance, professionalism, and proper business communications.
• Generate leads and convert them into sales opportunities.
• Maintain constant communication with clients via in-person meetings, phone calls, video conferences and emails.
• Prepare proposals and project presentations for clients.
• Work with KPIs and revenue targets set by management.
• Arrange meetings with clients to demonstrate products.
• Constantly maintain knowledge of products.
• Ensure that all administration related to the sales process is handled effectively.
• Work with other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience.
• Enter and update client information in our CRM system.
• Prepare and serve coffee and water to clients.
• Assist in maintaining the visual and quality standards of the showroom. This includes, but is not limited to:
• Organizing sales materials such as catalogues, samples, price lists
• Cleaning and maintaining showroom display
• Cleaning sales desk and overall physical space of the showroom
• Assist with showroom opening and closing procedures (lights, organization, catalogues, supplies, garbage, etc)
• Receive and organize correspondence.
• Must be available to work every Saturday.
• This person will be working in an environment with other sales professionals. Ability to properly operate within this environment is a must.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
