Sales Representative

Direct hire

85k salary + benefits and Bonus structure.

Summary/Objective

The Sales Representative is the first contact to all existing OEMs in regard to price or contract adjustments. Moreover, he will also be responsible in all upcoming RFQs and steer a cross functional team, with the support of our headquarter in Schwbisch Gmnd Germany, in order to quote potential new business in the required timeframe as well as financial guidelines.

1. Coordination of processing customer inquiries

  • Preparing, documenting, coordinating, and monitoring customer inquiries.
  • Obtaining offers through purchasing department.
  • Comparing and compiling obtained information in relation to prices, conditions, etc. and forwarding to the Program Management / Key Account Management (SG) to check.
  • Initiating and tracking offer- and changing-calculations, aligning the deadlines with the departments.

2. Preparing offers

  • Bring together the internal (Engineering, Production, Calculation, Logistics, Quality) documents and the external documents (Purchasing) for the offer-preparation, check the plausibility, working out customer-specific offer-documents, finishing in matching with Program Management / Key Account Management.

3. Present RFQs to potential OEMs

  • Presenting offers to the customers together with Program Management / Key Account Management
  • Negotiation with the customer with the support of a cross functional team.
  • Checking prices and order, maybe claiming, setting up and maintaining prices in the Enterprise-Resource-Planning System.
  • Supporting the project manager with changing-offers (creating customer-specific documents CBD/PBD) from the incoming orders to the SOP.

4. Controlling and supervising contracts

  • Administration and supervising of contract-conditions, changed prices etc.

5. Supporting in administrative activities:

  • Preparing presentations and key figures.
  • Preparing commercial and relevant key figures for the, Head of Sales & Program Management as well as the managing directors, e.g. Material-price adjustments, savings, and additional claims

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no supervisor responsibilities.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are generally Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. In order to meet our customers demands this role may be required to perform work outside of business hours including weekends.

Travel

Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out of the area and overnight travel may be required.

Required Education and Experience

1. Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or University with emphasis on business

  • 3 years Experience with ERP-System (e. g. SAP)

3. Efficient with MS Office

Preferred Education and Experience

1. Masters Degree in Business Management/Accounting

2. Knowledge in market and project course

3. Experience in process of customer inquiries / customer issues

4. Knowledge in customer portals, customer guidelines, contracts

  • Knowledge of calculation base, controlling-instruments, terms of payment
  • English/German communication skills both written and oral

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,158.00 - $85,268.00 per year
