Responsibilities
- Develop market-specific sales strategy to cultivate and drive referrals
- Conduct in-person and virtual meetings with target partners and existing partners
- Execute effective email communications and campaigns
- Complete regular market research
- Attend and participate in educational programs and networking/sales conferences
- Stay current with industry and marketplace changes and opportunities for competitive advantage
- Collaborate and communicate with team and cross-functional partners to fully meet customer needs
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal legal and regulatory requirements
- Resolve customer complaints regarding sales and service
- Access, maintain and analyze daily (CRM) software for sales activities, outcomes and prospective leads.
- Assist in obtaining information from the referral source related to resident care needs, acuity, etc. to assist the admissions team in making quick and informed decisions if admission is granted.
- Enter and maintain incoming patient referrals in customer relationship management software
- 75% local travel required for face-to-face meetings with referral sources, care partners, and customers.
Education and Experience
- 2 years of proven and effective experience in sales and/or business development in a health care setting required
- Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience preferred
- Wound care industry experience preferred
- Knowledge and understanding of Medicare (Part A & B) and managed care
- Microsoft office and CRM experience preferred
- Valid drivers license with trusted means of transportation

Compensation
- Base salary starting at $80,000
- Referral-based commission structure paid monthly
- Opportunity to earn additional bonus for overall company performance
- Total compensation potential exceeding $100,000 annually
