Experienced Account Manager - Plastic Resins

We are seeking a savvy, high energy, and motivated individual to support a resin distributor in the Midwest. The candidate should be outgoing, aggressive in work habits, and have a proven record of sales success.
The Account Manager will be responsible for executing sales strategies to maintain existing customers and establish new customers.
We are looking for an individual who lives to close deals. This is not a position for people who do not like constant interaction. This is a roll up your sleeves position where you will report to a team who loves to jointly celebrate success and who does not accept excuses.
Industry specific training will be provided.
The primary responsibilities of this position will be to be to:
- Maintain existing business and establish new accounts
- Maintain a constantly updated list of leads and targets and to fill the pipeline
- Manage day to day activities and targets
- Aggressively follow-up on leads
- Report to management daily - multiple times if necessary - as business activities and deal flow warrants
- Use CRM to actively track, monitor, and manage performance
- Up to 40% travel may be required, including overnight
- This position is for someone with a previous track record of success in sales and who is looking for an opportunity to make a difference at a fast growing sales organization
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
The candidate should possess the personality, work ethic, and integrity that are required to work at a company that is seeking to aggressively expand its national sales footprint. This is a position for self-starters who are aggressive, hard-working, and looking to develop a long-term sales career at a company with aggressive plans for expansion.
The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree and have a minimum of 3 years of plastic sales experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
