We are currently seeking an experienced Logistics individualsthat are looking to elevate their career! You are highly motivated and experienced with Freight Brokerage. You have a deep understanding of the transportation industry, excellent negotiations skills, and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships. This opportunity is salary based plus bonus!

Logistics Specialist what your day looks like:

• Carrier and Shipper Relationship Managment -nurture and network, negotiate and secure terms while communicating with costumer service team.
• Problem Resolution Efficiency - Communicating with both shippers and carriers with a high sense of urgency.
• Documentation Compliance -Capture proof of delivery documentation in a timely manner to ensure timely payment of carriers and invoicing of our customers. PODS, BOLs, Manifests, customs documentation.
• Load and Planning Coordination -tracking and compliance.
• Freight Negotiation- competitive freight rates with carriers to meet client requirements and profitability goals.
• Internal and external technology proficiency

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 Year experience with Freight Brokerage in the transportation Industry
• Proven ability to build relationships with carriers and customers.
• Bachelors Degree in Business, Communication, Supply Chain, or comparable experience/education
• Strong negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of transportation regulations, market trends, and industry best practices
• Experience monitoring KPI's and being accountable for a department.
• Proficient in using freight management software and tools

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 per year
