Job Summary:
The Franchise Development Manager (FDM) will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and qualifying franchisee candidates nationally for new locations and transfer locations. The FDM partners with franchise candidates as they progress through the qualification granting process and ensures that all requirements are met and all documentation is received.
Essential Functions, Duties, & Responsibilities:
- Source viable franchisee candidates using traditional and innovative recruiting techniques.
- Conduct research and analysis to anticipate business needs for placing franchisees.
- Develop strategies to attract high performing franchisees and build a pipeline of high performing franchisees.
- Create and place advertisements in local media outlets and postings online.
- Building relationships with local associations and organizations to promote franchisee opportunities and source qualified candidates.
- Use Social Media to target and source candidates.
- Develop electronic application process that will handle inquiries and track candidates
- Respond to web inquiries via email and/or phone.
- Effectively communicate the FujiSan franchisee program and processes to interested applicants.
- Qualify applicants based on the agreed franchisee requirements and track status of candidates.
- Develop strategies for developing leads for all franchise openings.
- Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications:
Education:
- High School Diploma required.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent experience.
Training & Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years recruiting franchisees
- Franchise recruiting in the sushi industry required
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Ability to lead franchise sales efforts and build a franchise lead generation system.
- Bi-lingual in Spanish required.
- Pipeline Management - ability to develop and maintain the pipeline of new franchisee candidates for new stores and store transfers.
- Strong presentation and selling skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Commitment to excellence and high standards.
- Creative, flexible, and innovative team player.
- Versatile and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
- Ability to learn and apply departmental or Company policies, procedures and rules.
- Advanced computer knowledge, creating and working with applicant tracking systems, and MS Office products.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $66,560.00 - $70,000.00 per year
