Location: Lindon, UT (office-based, with a hybrid work schedule)


Primary Purpose:

The HelpCloud Sales Development Representative (SDR) plays a crucial role in generating new business opportunities. SDRs leverage their professional sales skills to explore potential clients' company structures, industry positions, and other pertinent information. This insight is then utilized to penetrate the company with the aim of securing opportunities to be passed on to the sales team.


Major Functions/Responsibilities:


  • Generate new business opportunities by following up on leads and prospecting potential customers
  • Utilize provided customer lists for outbound calls
  • Participate in various lead generation campaigns as outlined by management.
  • Log leads and sales interactions effectively and efficiently
  • Meet or exceed Lead Development quotas as outlined by management.
  • Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of current and future HelpCloud products and services.
  • Collaborate with the assigned territory sales team as needed.
  • Act as a mentor and provide assistance to sales leadership as required for new Sales Developers.
  • Attend meetings and trainings as necessary.
  • Adhere to the company Code of Ethics and HelpCloud policies and procedures consistently.
  • Communicate professionally and effectively with customers both within and outside HelpCloud

Experience Requirements:

  • 1 year of experience in software or telecommunications sales, with demonstrated success in a quota-bearing environment.
  • 6+ months of experience in lead generation, sales development, or equivalent roles.
  • Proficiency in targeted questioning techniques.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills with confidence in engaging with senior-level executives.
  • Self-discipline and effective time management skills.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the full sales cycle process.
  • Advanced computer skills, including prior experience with CRM tools.
  • Ability to present HelpCloud CX products when necessary.
