Applications Engineer

Seeking an Applications Engineer to join our Engineering Division, offering comprehensive support for steam generation projects. This full-time role is perfect for someone with a knack for mechanical and electrical engineering, aiming to provide innovative solutions in the industrial steam sector.

What you will be doing:

• Application Engineering: Work alongside the sales team, offering technical expertise and engineering services to craft complete boiler room solutions.
• Engineering Support: Efficiently handle engineering queries using a case management system, ensuring timely responses.
• Product and Service Management: Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to deliver top-notch solutions, manage pricing negotiations, and introduce new products.
• Project Documentation: Oversee the creation and maintenance of essential project documents, including layout and mechanical drawings, P&IDs, and specifications.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Ensure smooth communication and alignment with clients, contractors, suppliers, and regulatory bodies to support project objectives.
• Continuous Improvement: Drive process enhancements and cost optimization, integrating engineering support with the sales process more effectively.

Requirements:

• A Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Over 5 years of engineering experience in the industrial steam industry, with a solid background in project engineering and management.
• Proficiency in CAD and related software, along with a thorough understanding of relevant codes and standards (ASME BPVC, UL, NEC, NBIC).

Hours:

• Working Hours: 8am 5pm

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
