50%- 70% travel.

Job Description:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for developing and maintaining a robust pipeline of existing and new opportunities to achieve sales goals in assigned geographic area.
- Build rapport and establish trust with existing customers and prospects.
- Identify, capture, and articulate customer needs and present appropriate solutions.
- Deliver presentations and persuasive communications to customers and prospects.
- Resolve customer issues by investigating problems and working with product experts across functions and divisions to identify and implement timely solutions.
- Participate and represent the organization at trade shows, industry conferences, and seminars; assisting with other marketing efforts as needed.
- Document customer contacts, communications, and call reports.
- Prepare sales reports as required and participate in sales team calls.
- Develop and maintain a strong working knowledge of the product line with the ability to understand and communicate technical capabilities, differences, and benefits.
- Enhance technical knowledge by reviewing professional publications, participating in internal training, establishing professional networks, and participating in professional industry organizations.
- Keep abreast of and communicate changes in the competitive landscape, new technology and market developments.
- Ability to travel adequately, estimated at 50-70%, to cover territory including overnight stays for scheduled customer meetings, as well as attending tradeshows, training workshops, and corporate meetings.
- Demonstrate a professional demeanor with strong work ethic and high integrity.
- Partner with accounts to identify current and future customer needs; cultivate and maintain working relationships to develop sales leads.
- Provide product, service, and technical information by answering questions and requests; demonstrate the companys product capability by preparing and conducting sales presentations.
- Monitor competitive activity and trends in the marketplace; determine value management/positioning of company products in the market and competitive differentiation.
The approximate pay range for this position is $80K to $100K plus incentives. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Qualifications
- Related concrete sales experience desired.
- Bachelors degree preferred, but not required, related experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
- Willingness to travel extensively to maintain contact with the companys customer base.
- Proficiency in using MS word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook
- Excellent organizational skills, with ability to prioritize effectively and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Technical aptitude with a strong ability to learn and apply technical knowledge related to products and processes.
- Ability to handle shifting priorities and deadlines.
- Strong verbal and written interpersonal/communication skills required.
- Ability to manage time and meet all internal and external work-related deadlines.
- Personal ownership and pride for the quality of work.
- Strong verbal and written interpersonal/communication skills required.
