Dey Distributing is an established and successful appliance and HVAC parts company seeking a reliable, friendly Sales Associate. To perform this job you must be comfortable with computers, answering phones, have great customer service skills and work well with others.

Responsibilities:

• Work as part of a team to provide exceptional customer service
• Greet customers as they enter the facility
• Inform customers of promotions available to them
• Provide information to customers about the companys product and services
• Assist customers in selecting the products and services to best meet their needs
• Manage customer information using a computer database system
• Address customers questions and concerns both in person and via phone or email
• Place orders using a computer database system
• Receive merchandise for return or delivery and verify its contents
• Count and stock merchandise
• Pick orders and pack them so that they are prepared for shipping

Required Qualifications:

• Ability to work well as part of a team
• Customer service orientation
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Computer proficiency
• Attention to detail
• A willingness to learn
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 30lbs on a regular basis
• Must be able to pass a background and drug test

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous customer service experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
