Sugar Hollow Solar is hiring a Solar Sales Consultant! The ideal candidate for this position is someone who is goals-oriented, has significant sales experience (solar sales is a plus!) and enjoys taking great care of their customers.
Summary:
The Solar Sales Consultant serves in a sales role for the organization focusing on residential sales. They will be responsible for selling the clean energy products that Sugar Hollow Solar sells and installs - primarily solar electric and battery backup systems.
Hybrid, full-time, salary, exempt
$60,000 - $130,000/yr
Base salary plus sales commission based on sold jobs, with significant upside and bonuses for high achievers!
Responsibilities:
- Receive company leads from the Sales Coordinator and follow up as directed by the calendar
- Self-generate leads through multiple channels, including referrals from past clients, friends, networking events, etc.
- Prioritize time in an effective manner, taking into account the order of the leads received, the likelihood of selling the job, how it will influence important relationships (contractors), and potential profitability
- Perform site visits to verify satellite data, close deals and follow sales process
- Provide great customer service (professional, caring, personable and appreciative)
- Help resolve customer complaints by investigating problems and developing solutions
- Help foster a long-term positive impression of our organization within the community by being honest and forthright with everyone you interact with
- Meet or exceed sales goals
- Accountability for past and future monthly sales metrics
- Participate in product training for clients as well as trade shows, networking events, etc.
- Attend scheduled sales and all-staff meeting
Key Performance Indicators: Signed contracts, close rate, customer satisfaction, job profitability
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in sales is required
- Experience selling solar is a plus as is general knowledge of the industry
- Excellent customer service
- Excellent written and verbal communication to effectively communicate with clients, understand their needs, and provide solutions
- Strong attention to detail
- Must work well with a team
- Experience in CRM software
- Extensive experience in Microsoft Suite, Google Suite
- Valid driver's license
