We are seeking an Entry Level Sales and Marketing professional to join our team. This role will provide support to the sales and marketing department and assist with various administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.

Grocery Deals is a local grocery store in Harrisburg, OR. We offers name brand products to our customers at a huge discount. We are growing and need to add to our customer service team! The hours will vary from Monday through Saturday from 9:00am to 7:30 pm.

Overview:

We are seeking a proactive and
organized individual to join our team as an Office Assistant with a focus on
Social Media Advertising and Sales Support. The ideal candidate will be
responsible for various tasks, including promoting products on social media
platforms, assisting with day-to-day office activities, engaging with potential
customers online, and collaborating with supervisors to enhance sales
strategies.

Responsibilities:

Advertising
Products on Social Media:

Create
and schedule engaging posts across various social media platforms (e.g.,
Facebook, Instagram,).

Develop
captivating content, including images, videos, and captions, to showcase our
products.

Monitor
and respond to comments, messages, and inquiries from customers.

Analyze
social media metrics to assess the effectiveness of advertising efforts and
make recommendations for improvement.

Assisting
in Basic Day-to-Day Office Tasks:

Assist
with printing, editing documents, and organizing files as needed.

Maintain
cleanliness and organization in the office space.

Interacting
with Potential Customers Through Online Storefronts:

Manage
online storefronts and ensure product listings are up-to-date and accurate.

Engage
with customers through online chat, email, and other communication channels.

Provide
product information, address inquiries, and assist customers with their
purchasing decisions.

Collaborating
with Supervisor to Brainstorm Ways to Improve Sales:

Work
closely with supervisors to identify opportunities for sales growth.

Participate
in brainstorming sessions to develop creative strategies for increasing sales
and expanding customer reach.

Provide
feedback on customer preferences, market trends, and competitor activities to
inform decision-making.

Qualifications:

High
school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in marketing,
business administration, or related field is a plus.

Proficiency
in using social media platforms for business purposes.

Excellent
communication skills, both written and verbal.

Strong
organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability
to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues.

Basic
computer skills and familiarity with office software (e.g., Microsoft Office
Suite).

Prior
experience in customer service, sales support, or social media marketing is
preferred but not required.
