Commercial Insurance Account Management position with fast growing privately held company that specializes in the formation and ongoing management of Group Captive Insurance Companies. We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to provide client support services to a base group of commercial property/casualty insured's that are written under our group captive programs. All policies are written with A+ rated insurance companies and the typical lines written are Worker's Compensation, General Liability and Business Auto. Account premiums range from $300,000+.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with Captive clients (brokers and captive members) on a variety of servicing functions related to the management of captive policies (General Liability, Business Auto, Workers Compensation and Excess policies)
- Work with Captive Account Executives, Senior Account Managers and Management to maintain strong relationships with our clients and serving partners.
- Work with captive underwriting and rating models to assist with pricing renewal captive business.
- Request, maintain and process renewal data for designated captive accounts
- Review and examine endorsement requests to ensure underwriting guidelines are met
- Handle miscellaneous underwriter inquires or requirements
- Assist with preparation of renewal proposals or presentation materials for client meetings.
- Process new business and policy audit invoicing
- Review account reconciliations, assist with collections and/or carrier payables
- Other miscellaneous tasks as required by management.
Key skill set/requirements:
- Advanced P&C Insurance Knowledge
- P&C Insurance License (not a requirement, but preferred)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access)
- Strong Analytical and problem solving skills
- One day work from home/4 days in office. Local candidates only
- High level of detail orientation
- Strong organization skills

- Ability to communicate effectively & understand complex concepts
- Desire to learn and assist with improving procedures
