Kriete Leasing & Rental is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Territory Sales Manager for our Milwaukee market. The ideal candidate will understand equipment or truck leasing & rental processes and have a proven track record in sales. Responsibilities include overseeing and nurturing client accounts, managing territories, and strategically expanding our market presence in truck leasing and markets.
Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy and Business Development.
- Assist in developing a strategic sales plan to achieve sales targets and expand market share within the assigned territory and core markets.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities by proactively prospecting and qualifying leads.
- Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline, managing all aspects of the sales process from lead generation to closing deals.
- Visits prospective customers to stimulate interest in establishing or expanding vehicle rental/leasing programs.
- Explains the concept and benefits of rental/leasing to customers.
- Recommends the type of vehicle needed to perform the job satisfactorily.
- Computes rental/leasing charges, based on such factors as length of contract, anticipated mileage, and applicable taxes.
- Prepares and sends proposals and contracts to the appropriate parties.
- Understands and complies with all federal, state, and local regulations regarding vehicle rental/leasing vehicles.
- Assists in the development of advertising campaigns.
- Prepares reports of business transactions and keeps expense accounts.
Technical Expertise and Product Knowledge:
- Utilize your combined understanding of the technical aspects of our products to effectively communicate their value proposition to clients.
- Provide technical support to customers, including product recommendations, troubleshooting, and application assistance.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to effectively position our products in the market.
- Requires thorough knowledge of truck leasing & rental departments processes.
- Prefer direct truck selling experience.
- Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Requires strong leadership ability and decision-making skills.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers.
- Conduct customer visits, meetings, and presentations to promote our products, address customer concerns, and negotiate contracts.
- Collaborate with customers to understand their needs, recommend tailored solutions, and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the sales process.
Qualifications:
- College degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of successful sales experience.
- Strong technical acumen and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage with customers and build long-lasting relationships.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills, with a solution-oriented mindset.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to travel as required to meet with clients within the assigned territory.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 8am-4:30pm, with on-call hours subject to customer needs.
- Occasional Saturdays may be required.

- 5 years (preferred)
- Work Location: Outside sales, on the road within assigned territory, with regular facility support.

Pay: $58,945.70 - $70,988.38 per year
