Job Title: New Business Development Manager
Department: Sales & Marketing
Position Reports to: US Sales Manager
Position is: Full-time, Salaried, Exempt
Work Location: Hanover location, Telecommuting available upon request
Schedule: Monday-Friday 40 hours per week, flexible hours with a start between 7 am 9 am, end day between 4 pm 6 pm.
Job Description: The New Business Development Manager will develop relationships with potential customers, educate them on Rhee Bros products and services, and foster that relationship to transition to a customer. Will identify potential customers, their needs, address concerns and issues; and develop and propose applicable/appropriate propositions and solutions. Will utilize relevant research and technology to create sales strategies, proposals, and pitch decks.
Responsibilities:
- Build and manage an active sales pipeline to ensure you close new business consistently at or above target level.
- Proactively prospect, qualify, and grow customer list.
- Establish a strong relationship with potential clients and internal stakeholders to grow new business.
- Research and identify emerging markets and industry trends while being fully aware of new products and competitive landscape.
- Compile lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads.
- Quote prices and credit terms and prepare sales contracts for orders obtained.
- Enter new customer data and other sales data for current customers into computer database.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Possess great listening and problem-solving skills.
- Possess great written and oral communication skills.
- Detail oriented and possess great organizational skills.
- Demonstrate ability to build and maintain strategic customer relationships, handle multiple priorities, and work in a self-direct manner.
- Direct work experience in food service and retail industry market channels, manufacturing environments, and/or distribution systems.
- Possess excellent planning/organizational skills and techniques.
- Demonstrate strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to use judgement based on experience, knowledge, and collaboration with appropriate team members to develop appropriate new business proposals.
- Ability to work effectively under an interference driven environment with competing priorities.
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration.
- Sales and or Marketing background or related work experience.
- Experience of an ERP system -
- Must be skilled in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point
- Bilingual in Korean (Preferred)
Travel/Physical Demands:
- Work conducted within an office environment.
- Travel typically less than 30%.
- Ability to lift boxes up to 25 lbs.
- Job demands will require long periods of sitting, standing, telephone work, or computer work.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
