Job Summary:
The Director of Patient Acquisition (Sales) will champion a vision and strategy to enhance the companys reputation in the Orlando, FL and Dallas-Fort Worth, TX market, with a high focus on increasing the company's outreach efforts and performance outcomes. This person will provide oversight and strategic direction for the businesss sales and marketing strategies across the organization and provide exceptional leadership so that they effectively connect with team members to motivate and inspire them to achieve outstanding performance goals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Define and create the appropriate sales strategy to target industry high points and increase performance.
- Act as a liaison between the company and the community.
- Lead the companys revenue value chain while providing a leadership style that is collaborative and numbers-driven.
- Oversee marketing communications, advertising, branding, events, and website design and content.
- Provide market insight and industry awareness to help guide Valora Medical Group through competitive market trends.
- Regularly provide updates to executive leadership to proactively communicate issues/risks that could impact the achievement of goals and objectives.
- Oversee and manage the department budget, using a business-case mentality to secure approval for funding needs supporting sales.
- Ensure all new project and change requests fit within the sales strategy efforts and resource capability.
- Develop and manage KPIs to ensure all team members are performing at their highest potential.
- Develop and track metrics and assess criteria for all marketing programs and activities.
- Maintain knowledge of current regulations governing Medicare and private insurance companies.
- Ensure all Sales and Marketing team members are properly trained, have the necessary resources to perform the job, and are fully educated so that it results in a high-performing team.
- Create a culture of honesty, accountability, teamwork, and innovation.
- Lead by example and champion Valora's vision, mission, and values.
Qualifications/Education:
- Bachelors Degree in Sales or related degree required; MBA preferred
- 10+ years of Sales experience, 5+ years in a senior management position
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is required
- Experience in the healthcare industry is strongly preferred
- Proven experience successfully leading sales and marketing strategies for a fast-growing company
- Ability to travel and support both the Orlando, FL and Dallas-Fort Worth, TX markets
- Self-starter with a high degree of personal accountability and ownership
- Ability to make decisions independently based on company standards and expectations
- Must have effective written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to establish working relationships, resolve interpersonal conflicts, and apply basic staff etiquette in dealing with others
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to learn new procedures and adapt quickly to change
