Full description of the position

Sales Representative
Location: Field
Location: Madison or La Crosse area
Schedule: Monday-Friday

Our Sales Representatives are the face of the rapidly growing team at Downeast Cider, the #1 hard cider in the Northeast and #2 in the country. Your mission is to increase the sales and visibility of Downeast Cider in restaurants, bars and liquor stores throughout Wisconsin. Youll be spreading the good unfiltered word about our innovative portfolio of craft hard cider, vodka sodas, hard lemonades, and beyond.

What youll do:

Sell, sell, sell

  • Execute on monthly and quarterly sales goals
  • Grow brand presence and introduce new products within our existing accounts
  • Prospect for new business and close sales with new accounts
  • Seek out merchandising and promotional opportunities at accounts
  • Conduct weekly demos at bar and retail accounts (can include training/managing a Brand Ambassador to run these)

Flex your people skills

  • Spend 80-90% of your time visiting new and existing accounts
  • Build relationships with key decision makers throughout your account base
  • Manage communications with many (10-40) wholesaler reps
  • Leverage wholesaler relationships/ride-alongs to increase sales and stay top of mind

Keep track of it all

  • Maintain accurate and timely records in our CRM software, including recording notes from every sales visit
  • Create and send weekly recaps of account work to wholesalers

Who you are:

  • Passionate about craft cider
  • Experience providing superior customer service
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Comfortable multitasking and pivoting effortlessly between various job functions throughout the day
  • Valid drivers license and vehicle
  • 21 years of age or older to comply with federal and state regulations
  • Must reside in the same area as the covered territory

Bonus points if you have

  • Outside sales experience
  • Experience working in the alcohol / liquor / beer / wine industry
  • Comfortable using a CRM software
  • Proficient in Google Suite
