DeKane Equipment Corp is seeking to hire a full-time Sales person to join our established and knowledgeable team. DeKane has served the Fox Valley and surrounding areas for over 50 years providing pars, sales, and service for many major brands of power equipment. DeKane Equipment is a full service agriculture, construction, and landscape equipment dealership. We take pride in serving our customers' needs with knowledgeable, dependability, and professionalism.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Sales Associate to join our team. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, promoting and selling products, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced retail environment and have a passion for sales.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and assist them in finding the right products
- Provide product information and answer any questions or concerns
- Recommend additional items to enhance the customer's shopping experience
- Process sales transactions accurately using cash registers or other technology
- Maintain knowledge of current sales promotions, policies, and procedures
- Handle customer complaints or inquiries in a professional manner
- Keep the sales floor clean, organized, and stocked with merchandise
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals

Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members
- Proven sales experience or willingness to learn sales techniques
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and basic retail math
- Proficiency in using technology for sales transactions and inventory management
- Multilingual abilities, particularly Spanish and English, are a plus but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $48,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
