Full description of the position

Summary: Responsible for planning, directing, and executing all sales activities to drive sales volume and meet occupancy expectations, coordinating and performing external sales activities to drive lead volume into the community, designing sales training programs for other community leaders to support the sales process, and analyzing sales statistics to increase effectiveness of current sales strategies and modify as appropriate. Also maintaining an assigned database by using the CRM system and coordinating all sales reporting as assigned to document and record activity.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

1. Meets and exceeds sales targets in support of overall census growth.*

2. Monitors customer preferences to determine focus of sales efforts.*

3. Provides input for price schedules and discount rates.*

4. Reviews operational records and reports to project sales and determine profitability.*

5. Confers or consults with department heads to plan advertising services and to secure information on equipment and customer specifications.*

6. Performs job responsibilities while being mindful of budget requirements and constraints.*

7. Plans and directs staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control sales and service programs.*

8. Possesses knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems.*

9. Possesses knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.*

10. Possesses knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.*

11. Possesses knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.*

12. Possesses knowledge of human behavior and performance, individual differences in ability, personality, and interests, learning and motivation; psychological research methods; and the assessment and treatment of behavioral and affective disorders.*

13. Possesses knowledge of principles and methods for curriculum and training design, teaching and instruction for individuals and groups, and the measurement of training effects.*

14. Resolves customer complaints regarding sales and service.*

15. Develops and builds teams, develops objectives and strategies, resolves conflicts, and negotiating with others.*

16. Establishes and maintains interpersonal relationships, communicates with supervisors, peers, or subordinates.*

17. Performs administrative activities, identifies objects, actions, events, and documenting/recording information.*

Language Ability:

Math Ability:

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Computer Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, data entry, CRM software, Avidian, Eden, Front Range Solutions Goldmine, and Maximizer.

Education/Experience:

Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) or equivalent; and three to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certificates and Licenses:

AHCA CORE Certification a plus
