Full description of the position

Job Title: Armor Technical Sales Manager

Location: Niagara Falls, NY (Onsite)

Job Overview:

The Armor Technical Sales Manager will play a pivotal role in acting as the principal liaison between customers, Operations, and Armor Commercial teams across all Armor-producing plants. This position involves validating technical offers, overcoming manufacturing challenges, and supporting technical inquiries from customers. Additionally, the incumbent will have direct commercial responsibility for a defined set of Armor customers, overseeing successful representation of Armor manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary liaison between customers, Operations, and Armor Commercial teams.
  • Support technical inquiries and interactions with Armor customers.
  • Assume direct commercial responsibility for a designated set of Armor customers.
  • Market and sell a range of armor products for various applications.
  • Manage key programs awarded to successful completion, acting as the interface between customers and internal operations.
  • Track and report on customer orders and requirements.
  • Act as Armor Commercial interface/liaison with Engineering, Customer Service, R&D, and Operations teams.
  • Provide technical support and problem-solving to customers, marketing, production, and customer service teams.
  • Prepare quotes and proposals for assigned customers.
  • Conduct frequent visits to customers and host visits as part of the Armor commercial team.

Must-Have Skills:

  • Four-year degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Materials/Industrial Engineering.
  • 7 years of experience with Manufacturing.
  • Experience in Material processing.
  • Proficiency in communicating technical information with customers.
