Job Overview:
We are seeking a Garden Associate to join our team. As a Garden Associate, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and assisting customers with their gardening needs. This is a hands-on role that requires knowledge and experience in retail sales. If you have a passion for plants and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:
- Assist customers in selecting plants, flowers, and gardening supplies
- Provide advice on plant care,
- Maintain the appearance and organization of the garden center
- Water, prune, and fertilize plants to ensure their health and vitality
- Assist with inventory management and restocking of products
- Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving any issues promptly

Requirements:

- Strong organizational skills to maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the garden center
- Excellent communication skills in English to effectively interact with customers
- Ability to provide exceptional customer service and sell products effectively
- Basic knowledge of cash handling procedures is a plus
- Must be able to work in an outdoor environment and perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy objects and standing for extended periods

Note: All positions at our company are paid positions.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour

Experience:

• Retail sales: 1 year (Preferred)
• Merchandising: 1 year (Preferred)
• Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
