What You Will Do
Altus Spine is pursuing the best and the brightest in our industry. We have the ideal landing spot for the right person waiting for the right opportunity. We are seeking an Associate Surgical Suport Representative who will understand the clinical expectations of our healthcare professionals and proactively anticipate their needs. In this role, you will complete a training program to learn the anatomy of the spine, procedural treatments, spinal repair products and effective surgical support techniques.
- The overall responsibilities of the Associate Sales Representative position include providing clinical and selling support in hospital as set forth below, while ensuring customer service, sales logistics, technical expertise, and product knowledge of highest order / level
- Gain and maintain hospital credentials to all hospitals Altus Spine does business with
- Support sales objectives, cover cases, and manage billing / purchase order
- Guide and assist surgeons in the operating room through their clinical and product knowledge
- Use his / her product knowledge to present, demonstrate, and ensure proper utilization of clients products
- Supporting customers by attending surgeries, assuring that the proper equipment is available and performing, including ways to optimize trays
- Maintain consignment and loaner inventory for scheduled surgeries; move loaner sets between accounts and HQ as needed
- Troubleshoot and provide other technical assistance; handle customer requests, effectively manage hospital billing, create / close purchase orders
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with current clients in territory including specialist physician office staff and operating room staff
- Input timely and well-organized reports for leadership
- Stays current with all compliance training requirements and industry trends
- Participate in and attend sales and professional association meetings outside regular business hours, as necessary
Who You Are
- Bachelors Degree in Biology, Nursing or equivalent degree required; in lieu of degree, a combination of education and experience may be considered
- 1 year of case coverage in an OR - spine preferred
- Required to meet healthcare credentialing requirements such as training, immunizations, drug screening, and infectious disease testing
- Required to work in a clinical setting near radiation equipment, ability to lift 50 lbs., and wear protective gear (i.e. lead aprons)

- Travel requirements: Primarily day-time travel within assigned territory 4-5 days/week, and occasional overnight travel
