We are seeking a dynamic sales candidate to join the team. The sales position involves selling and planning contracted events along with maintaining a high level of daily selling activity (personal visits, prospecting calls, lead generation etc.) while ensuring the ability to consistently meet and exceed sales objectives. The ideal candidate requires excellent organizational skills and an understanding of the overall operations of the restaurant business. The candidate must have exceptional people skills and possess the ability to effectively communicate with colleagues and clients.
Essential Responsibilities:
The duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
Responsible for prospecting and booking of events for groups of 9 or more guests.
- Contribute to overall venue sales team revenue goals by meeting or exceeding personal sales quotas on a monthly (period), quarterly, and annual basis
- Strive to deliver an unparalleled guest experience on the phone, via email and with in-person communication from inquiry stage to post-event follow up
- Foster client relationships through ongoing communication with clients to ensure repeat business and referrals
- Manage all assigned leads with the utmost sense of urgency and in accordance with the companys lead response time standards
- Create, manage, and confirm Event bookings using Tripleseat sales system including the documentation of all prospect and event client communication
- Utilize established reports and dashboards to ensure personal sales Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are being met or exceeded
- Be open and eager to learn new sales skills
- Proactively strive to maintain high levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency
- Proactively engage in outbound sales activity and networking in the community in adherence to established business development standards for the venue.
Represent Kings and actively participate in professional networking organizations and off-site events.
Schedule and execute site tours at both locations.
Clear understanding of and ability to express company identity, concept, and event options
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
