Lead marketing for Castle Park to meet attendance, revenue, and guest service goals. Marketing & Sales manager will work with park and corporate leadership to establish marketing strategies, develop ticket pricing, create promotions, and execeute other marketing functions.
Roles & Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include maintaining and optimizing the website, managing all owned and shared channels, working with corporate team to execute promotions and media plan, and executing in-park events. This position is also responsible for driving group sales business.
- Direct, monitor and mentor the marketing team in activities.
- Coordinate and execute core marketing programs including social media, ticketing/promotional strategies, event marketing, content development, and partner programs.
- Coordinate with the corporate Palace Entertainment marketing team and the Parques Reunidos teams to ensure fluidity of the marketing plans and execution
- Develop and execute B2B/Group sales programs to align promotional and sales strategies to optimize ticketing revenue, drive awareness for group sales programs and packages.
- Participate in the creation of sales collateral in conjunction with our advertising agency.
- Drive content, campaign planning, and execution for owned media channels including social media, email, and the park website.
- Professionally represent Castle Park in the community and in the industry at large.
- Research, analyze, monitor and report financial, technological, attendance and demographic factors so that market opportunities may be capitalized on and the effects of competitive activity may be minimized
- Develop and implement annual marketing plans, communication plans, and budgets for the park
- Lead and implement strategies within earned, shared and owned media channels. Partner with paid media team to align paid campaigns to key promotional windows and communications objectives.
- Collaborate and engage with park leadership team, as well as other company stakeholders, in developing and executing a high-performance plan
- Compile, analyze, and distribute financial and performance metrics required to meet long-term company objectives. Manage marketing expense budget.
- Lead and ensure proper marketing brand and standards are in place at the park including signage, handouts, printed materials, etc.
- Coordinate efforts with other Park Departments to continually improve and deliver quality guest experiences to customers in all areas. Ensure strong online guest service on review and social media channels; report back on guest service plan improvements
- Support and lead 2-3 direct reports including full-time, part-time and season team members.
- Keen instincts for growing earned media opportunities, and leveraging social media to gain awareness for ticket offers, events, and programming. Drive local PR opportunities to generate exposure for attendance driving initiatives.
- Perform other related duties as required or assigned by the Regional Marketing & Sales Director and General Manager.

- Computer Proficiency MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint), digital marketing analysis, CRM planning and analysis
Qualifications & Education Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Marketing and/or Sales, Advertising, Communications or related fields. Equivalent experience will be considered
- High School Diploma is required
- Flexible scheduling is required. During busy spring and summer season, hours may include weekends and holidays
- At least three years related experience. Prior experience in the tourism, theme park, sport or entertainment industry is a plus, but not required.
