We are seeking a dynamic Sales Assistant to join our rapidly expanding global company, Big Fish Cut + Pack. As a Sales Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the daily operations of our sales department while collaborating with cross-functional teams on long-term projects and initiatives. You will be responsible for managing day-to-day vendor relationships and expenses. Traveling to meet clients and attend seafood shows is an integral part of this role.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Must reside in Miami, Florida.

Occasional travel required to visit clients and attend trade shows.

Ability to adapt to changes in policies and procedures.

Proactively engage in sales activities, including generating sales through telephone calls and in-person presentations to existing and potential seafood service customers.

Maintain regular communication and follow-up with accounts.

Meet or exceed pre-established sales goals for each product.

Cultivate and maintain relationships with current clients while actively seeking new prospects.

Ensure client satisfaction and happiness with our products and services.

Focus on increasing revenue, profit, and acquiring new clients.

Train new associates if necessary.

Possess strong negotiation and organizational skills, along with excellent customer relations skills.

Familiarity with quality control, production, and costing processes.

Experience in frozen/fresh seafood sales is preferred.

Manage the supply and distribution chain effectively.

Adhere to budget expectations and report to leadership as required.

Participate in virtual, in-person, or travel meetings as needed.

Maintain open communication with other locations.

Monitor product conditions through customer feedback.

Review and respond to calls/SMS through the Unite system.

Develop and maintain proficient knowledge about incoming shipments.

Perform any other duties as assigned.

Knowledge on Logistics.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Previous experience in fish importing/selling preferred.

Efficient communication skills.

Ability to multitask effectively.

Develop or possess intimate product knowledge.

Proficiency in English and Spanish is required.
