Iron Buffalo Truck and Trailer is the premier independent semi-truck, trailer, RV and Crane repair facility in Colorado. We are growing, and key to this growth is someone that can help us optimize our parts procurement process to speed up the services we provide to our customers.

We're currently seeking a Parts Counter Clerk for our evening Shift.

This position will work out of our Commerce City, CO location - on the evening shift.

Responsibilities:

• Help our technicians with parts aquisition on the night shift. Help customers for pick-ups and drop-offs.
• Work with the Evening Shop Foreman to balance needs and support our night shift mechanics.
• Keep track of parts needs on the night shift, ordering what can be ordered at night, and sending our parts driver to pick-up. Working with the day shift parts team on buying that can only take place during the day.
• Order & receive parts from various vendors.

Duties

We service regional and national fleets, as well as small owner operators of various equipment. We need someone that can compliment the team by utilizing our shop management software to organize and execute the parts procurement process efficiently and timely.
- Working off the parts ordering screen of our shop management software, quote desired parts not in inventory, by utilizing known vendors and exploring new vendors.
- Maintain accurate records of parts transactions, including inventory control and materials management
- Assist in the development and implementation of supply chain strategies to optimize efficiency

```Qualifications```
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field preferred
- Heavy duty diesel strongly preferred
- Service Counter Experience A Plus
- Phone Skills a plus ... but we can train

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
