Full description of the position

As a Showroom Sales Consultant, you will have the opportunity to work with a range of clients from Homeowners and Interior Designers to Tile Contractors, Builders and Remodelers. Youll be responsible for helping clients select tile that is unique to their personal style. Making and maintaining samples and displays to showcase products in the showroom. As well as being a valuable resource working together with other departments to provide the highest level of customer service.

Scheduled hours: Monday - Friday 8:15 am - 4:45 pm

Essential duties and responsibilities:

• Assist clients with tile selections and samples appropriate for their project
• Replenish, label and maintain showroom samples and displays. Ability to lift 40 lbs
• Write and manage sales orders while clearly communicating with all individuals involved
• Use computer applications related to duties and responsibilities above
• Communicate daily with City Desk and Contractors regarding customers selections
• Assist in maintaining the over appearance of the showroom

What we are looking for:

• Previous flooring sales, design selections, retail sales or tile industry experience
• Excellent customer service skills with attention to detail
• Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks
• Strong computer, verbal, and written communication skills
• Ability to excel in a multitude of duties while on the job training
• Self-motivated with a desire to learn
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Compensation:

• We offer competitive pay based on experience, aligned with industry standards. Compensation will be determined based on the candidate's relevant experience and qualifications

• Paid time off accrued monthly; up to 15 days per calendar year. Accrual rate increases after 5 years and again after 10 years of employment.
