Gourmet Innovations is a leading branded consumer goods company located in Pompano Beach, Florida. We are dedicated to developing powerhouse products wrapped around diverse lifestyle brands. We use visually striking design, innovative concepts and a passionate drive to elevate consumers experiences worldwide.

You will find our brands on the shelves of convenience stores, culinary outlets and tobacco shops across the United States, Canada, Mexico and South America. Our company is growing quickly and is actively recruiting new team members for a number of positions.

SUMMARY

Our Sales Manager is a key member of our leadership team. This position leads our team of 9 account executives in North and South America and directly sells to national chains of convenience stores, food service companies and grocery stores. Ideal candidates will have experience in selling packaged consumer goods to national chains of food service and/or convenience stores and in managing regional or national teams of sales professionals. Candidates must be based out of our office in Pompano Beach, Florida or be prepared to travel to Pompano Beach for at least one week per month. The United States is our largest market. We have growing sales in Canada and Mexico and have opened several markets in South America.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Coordinate and oversee our existing team of 9 sales professionals.

2. Develop and coordinate an incentive structure to help our sales team drive continued growth.

3. Directly sell to large-scale convenience store, food service and grocery stores. We believe that our largest market opportunity is in our food preparation line, and our butane canisters, lighters, torches and air freshening products.

4. Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of our sales efforts.

5. Develop and manage sales budgets, and oversee the development and management of internal operating budgets.

6. Establish and implement short- and long-range goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures.

7. Participate in the planning and development of company marketing and communications materials.

8. Plan, execute and attend trade shows across the United States.

9. Other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

1. Candidates must have 5+ years of experience managing a sales team in the consumer-packaged goods industry.

2. Ideal candidates will also have experience selling into convenience store and food service segments.

3. Experience in developing and monitoring incentive structures for sales professionals.

4. Work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects. Ability to participate in and facilitate group meetings.

5. Requisite skills are normally acquired through a combination of the completion of a Bachelors Degree and five years of experience in a sales management position.

6. Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule.

We offer a company health insurance plan, vision, dental and life insurance. Our company pays for 50% of our participating employees health insurance premiums.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Working conditions are normal for an office environment. Work may require occasional weekend and/or evening work.

COMPENSATION

Base salary of $115,000 to $135,000 per year plus commissions for direct sales to regional and national chains.
