Job Title: Senior Strategic Account Manager - Department Stores, HOKA

Reports to: Director, Sales, Lifestyle - HOKA US

The Role
In this critical role you will be responsible for driving, leading, and implementing the HOKA brand & commercial product strategy within our department store businesses, ensuring long term organic, sustainable revenue growth is achieved. A highly disciplined and strategic approach relative to assortment planning, merchandising, order book management and cross functional teamwork is essential in ensuring HOKA is solidified as a core brand within the department store assortments.
This role will deliver the agreed upon targets through business efficiency, exploration of new categories and opportunities, excellent inventory management, and in partnership with internal and external cross-functional team strategies.

Your Impact
  • Sales - Set and manage seasonal and annual sales plans, demonstrate a deep understanding of the department store business including relevant KPIs, analyze sell-in and sell through performance to deliver/exceed seasonal expectations and annual strategic business plans and thoughtfully present the business to cross-functional partners.
  • Account Management Own the business by being key contact for all department store related items, communicate effectively and consistently with the respective retail partners and internal teams, works closely with go to market team and provides fresh and innovative approach to driving the department store business.
  • Profitability Maintains and maximizes profitable growth, works with go to market team to build investment plans that deliver a strong return on investment and ensures all expenses are in-line with the business.
  • Leadership - Manages a team effectively, while prioritizing growth, mentorship, and development of direct reports and/or peers, while delegating and dividing account responsibilities appropriately.
Who You Are
  • You are a person who has strong analytical skills, is highly collaborative and communicative, is highly motivated and has a deep understanding of retail sales, including the HOKA consumer. Experience with outdoor specialty is a plus!

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent level of experience
  • Experience managing department stores, ideally Nordstrom and Bloomingdales is required.
  • At least 5 -7 years of previous wholesale or buying experience within a regionally based role and/or Key Accounts.
  • Knowledge and experience within the Lifestyle category is a plus
  • Deep understanding of retail math, metrics, and ability to build budget and forecasts, in Excel.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications.
  • Ability to effectively prepare and present information and respond to questions from management, clients, and other employees of the organization.
  • Experience in managing individuals and running a team.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

$120,000 - $130,000
The salary range posted reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this role in our Goleta, CA location. Individual pay will be determined by location and additional factors, including job related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
