Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Insurance Agent to join our team. As an Insurance Agent, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, analyzing insurance needs, and selling insurance policies to clients. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about sales and have a strong understanding of the insurance market.

Responsibilities:

- Communicate with clients to understand their insurance needs and provide appropriate coverage options

- Analyze client's current insurance policies and make recommendations for additional coverage or policy changes

- Sell various types of insurance policies, such as auto, home, life, and health insurance

- Conduct market research to identify potential clients and develop strategies to reach them

- Process insurance applications, policy changes, and claims accurately and efficiently

- Provide ongoing support to clients by answering questions, resolving issues, and assisting with policy renewals

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and changes in insurance products

- Building and maintaining client rapport, providing unparalleled service and continually seeking growth opportunities

- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets

Requirements:

- Prior experience in sales or insurance roles is beneficial but not mandatory

- Have reliable transportation for client meetings, and in-field work

- Be 18 years or older, have a high school diploma or GED

- Have active/ current Property and Casualty insurance licenses for the state of Iowa, or willingness to obtain licensing within 30 days of employment

- Pass a background check as part of the recruitment process

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Strong analytical skills to assess client needs and recommend appropriate coverage options

- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and compliance requirements

- Ability to effectively market insurance products to potential clients

- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
