AMG Research is a global market research company based in the Pittsburgh area. We specialize in research-based consulting for world-class companies in the healthcare, life sciences, and industrial/commercial markets.

We are looking for a strong candidate to fill a Business Development position. This position will involve the development of new customer business and long-term customer retention. We are looking for a creative, highly motivated, self-starting individual with a passion for connecting and building relationships with current and future customers through content marketing, social media, and traditional marketing/sales efforts.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Work to research, approach, and build relationships with new target customers in line with strategic goals
• Develop, implement, and manage marketing programs and campaigns
• Find innovative ways to expand the business and client list
• Maintain detailed records of all interactions and follow-up with clients on a regular basis
• Utilize cold calling techniques and other proactive methods to uncover new leads
• Manage customer satisfaction survey process
• Use business metrics to help guide and plan for future efforts
• Participate in association and networking events
• Assist in the execution of an ongoing email program and social media campaign to target customers

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree
• Strong proficiency in MS Office Applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook)
• 2-3 years of experience working in a professional setting preferred, but not required
• A strong desire to grow professionally and build a career in business development.
• Ability to build lasting client relationships.
• Experience managing professional or business social media platforms preferred, but not required

This position would start as part time with the intention to grow into a full time role. It would also require an in-office training period prior to becoming hybrid. Compensation will be an hourly rate plus commission.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
