Position Overview:
As a Sales Administrator/Customer Service Representative II, you will be an integral part of our growing team, providing essential support to inside sales operations. This role involves interacting with customers, collaborating with outside sales teams, and contributing to the efficiency of plant manufacturing and procurement processes. Your role is crucial in maintaining high standards of service and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and verify customer orders using internal CRM/mainframe systems.
- Respond to customer service requests and communicate changes to relevant departments.
- Provide quality service to internal and external customers, learning about product lines, prices, and delivery times.
- Actively participate in the continuous improvement efforts of the customer service team.
- Generate quotations for stock and repeat items, build professional relationships with customers, and assist with returns and replacements.
- Perform various clerical duties such as filing, scanning, and processing documents.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent education.
- Minimum of one (1) or two (2) years as a Sales Administor and/or CSR
- Manufacturing inside sales experience preferred
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Clear and logical problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and Excel.
- Preferred experience in a related field, quoting/estimating, and ERP experience.
