We are patiently seeking a Director of Sales with a high level of tenacity, organization skills, and experience closing deals.

This individual will need to follow an already established sales process/workflow as well as enhance the approach with their industry knowledge and experience. This individual will need experience building a sales team as well as facilitate the completion of an annual marketing and strategic plan. Requires excellent communication skills, the ability to build trust and rapport quickly with prospective members and team, and extreme ownership of their roles and responsibilities. To be successful here, you will need to maintain a positive attitude and enjoy working hard in collaboration with a high-performing team. This is a full-time position, but due to the seasonal nature of the industry, the candidate must be willing to work longer hours during the late spring and summer months. Must have significant flexibility in work schedule during boating season. HubSpot or other CRM experience is required.

Summary of Duties:

The Director of Sales is primarily responsible for membership growth and retention and will provide the highest level of service to prospective and current members of the Carefree Boat Club. The director will frequently interact with prospective members through various modes of communication and clearly articulate the value of membership in the club. The director will be highly focused on new lead generation and conversion and will be able to close the deal.

Key Responsibilities:

• Primarily responsible for membership growth and retention for Carefree Boat Club of Tri-Cities and Chattanooga
• Develop and implement strategic marketing plan for membership growth and retention in collaboration with the leadership team
• Manage all new referrals through CRM as well as phone, text, and email communications/campaigns.
• Conduct prospective member tours at marina locations
• Own all digital marketing campaigns including social medias, websites, newsletters.
• Plan and host membership events. These include existing member events, as well as events to attract new members.
• Attend relevant trade shows and marketing events.
• Consistently ensure a high-quality experience for members, demonstrating values of Carefree Boat Club.
• Report weekly/as needed on lead generation.
• Build strong relationships with local businesses to develop referral sources for new members.
• 3 years of sales experience required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
