Summary
The Sales and Business Development Professional is responsible for developing our territory to increase sales, and revenue for our Home Care Agency. They will do this by establishing and maintaining contacts that will develop into sales leads. They will have a strong presence in the community and actively promote the BrightStar brand. Responsibilities
- Work closely with our supportive office staff to ensure maximum quality care for our clients.
- Call on healthcare facilities, physicians, clinics, and facilities to generate sales for both private duty homecare, private duty skilled homecare, and medical staffing.
- Make outbound sales calls and get prospective referral sources to schedule appointments, whether virtual or in-person.
- Working both in and out of office, making in-person sales calls and outbound phone sales calls.
- Grow existing business, seek, identify, and develop new business opportunities to meet or exceed sales goals.
- Establish and develop relationships with our BrightStar National Accounts.
- Establish, develop, and nurture relationships with referral sources within the community.
- Join and attend area networking organization meetings (in-person or Zoom).
- Seek, develop, and participate in marketing opportunities in the community.
- Establish working rapport with health care professionals within the territory.
- Develop and implement marketing plan.
- Develop and manage digital and social media marketing efforts.
- Develop and implement an online reputation management program, driving reviews from customers on Google and Facebook.
- Meet with key clients and maintain relationships by further developing preferred partner relationships with proven referral sources.
- Responds to inquiries, consults with potential clients and families to discuss their care needs and converts them to clients.
- Meet with potential new clients for Living Room Visits (in-person, Zoom) to complete intake documents.
- Works directly with clinical team, Client Care Managers and Recruiter; to discuss staffing and caregiver needs.
- Acts as direct liaison and contact for all new onboarding clients and family members.
- Must be able to travel within our owned service area and territory of Boca Raton, Delray Beach and Boynton Beach.
- This position will report to the Branch Manager, Owner, or Director of Operations
- Other duties as assigned or requested.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in marketing, business management or communications, preferred.
- Proven ability to generate leads and monitor referrals, to manage a sales territory, maintaining and building relationships with new and existing contacts.
- A minimum of one year experience in the home healthcare industry, preferred; with active book of business.
- Experience with public speaking and presentation skills.
- Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills, multi-tasking and problem solving.
- Demonstrate working knowledge of health care in home and institutional setting.
- Must be comfortable with closing / asking for business.
- Must be willing to meet with potential clients and family members for intakes and ongoing customer service calls.
- MUST be a self-starter, self-driven and motivated to earn.
- Must be proficient and able to use computer applications and Customer Acquisition Software
- Exhibit outstanding organizational skills and a service attitude towards the community.
- Requires valid drivers license, reliable transportation, and insurance.
